TaiG jailbreak

The well-known PanGu team was able to jailbreak iOS 8.0 to 8.1 only. Then another Chinese jailbreaking team named as TaiG came into the limelight. They have declared that their TiaG jailbreak tool is capable of jailbreaking iOS 8.1.1 at the beginning.  However Apple has release another minor update as iOS 8.1.2 and still TaiG jailbreak could be used for jailbreak.

There were rumors that Apple will release either iOS 8.1.3 or 8.2 to the public very soon. But TaiG team has already announced that their tool can be used for jailbreak iOS 8.2 also. And further they have mentioned that support for iOS 8.2 has been disabled until the public release of iOS 8.2.

Still this tool is made available for windows only. If you are a Mac user, you can jailbreak your device with Windows Virtual machine.

What are the compatible devices…?

When consider the iPhone models, TaiG jailbreak is compatible with iPhone 6 Plus,6,5s, 5c, 5 and 4s. And Taig jailbreak is also compatible with iPad Air, 2, iPad 2, 3, 4, iPad mini,mini 2 and mini 3. From iPod devices only the iPod touch 5th generation is compatible with TaiG.

How TaiG jailbreak evolved….?

So far several updates were released by the TaiG team.

·         On 2014-12-10 TaiG jailbreak V1.2.0 released to support all the devices running iOS 8.1.2.

·         On 2014-12-05 TaiG jailbreak V1.1.0 released to prevent generate redundant information in Sandbox.

·         On 2014-11-30 TaiG jailbreak V1.0.2 released with the ability to delete 3K assistant.

·         On 2014-11-29 TaiG jailbreak V1.0.1 released to improve the escape velocity and the device’s stability.

·         On 2014-11-29 TaiG jailbreak V1.0 released for the first time to the public.

What you should do before jailbreaking…..?

·         Take a backup of your device for the safety of data in it via iTunes.

·         The device which you are going to jailbreak with TaiG has to running iOS 8.0, 8.0.1, 8.0.2, 8.1, 8.1.1 or 8.1.2. Please remember to update its firmware using iTunes.

·         “Find My iPhone” function has to be turned off.

·         The device’s Passcode lock also should be disabled.

·         Download the latest TaiG jailbreak on to your desktop.
